FT. BELVOIR OFFICE FIT-OUT

TEI was tasked under a Blanket Order Agreement with the Directorate of Public Works, Engineering Division, to provide all materials, labor, equipment and services to design and build office spaces within the warehouse area of Building 1416, Ft. Belvoir, VA. The base bid scope included the modification of existing office space (Area 1) and the construction of two additional office modules (Areas 2 and 3), each approximately 25‘ by 30’.
TEI also constructed a four-compartmented storage cage approximately 20’ by 21’ with four gates. Protective bollards were provided around the office areas to prevent accidental collision with the structure by vehicles in the bay. The scope included providing ventilation in the open bay maintenance area by installing two roof exhaust fans through the existing roof openings. The existing sliding door between Area 1 and the Open Bay Area was removed. A block wall to match the existing was installed with a new fire rated single door with panic bar and closure hardware.
