Their project manager was incredibly effective and his foreman's quality control was outstanding. Their team worked tirelessly to meet project goals, including accelerating the schedule when needed. TE l's scope included a complicated, custom light fixture installation at the top of the column covers, which mandated absolute precision to create the illusion of perfect alignment with the trusses. Each fixture had a different angle and dimension, had to be lasered from the steel trusses above, and the precise angle and the length of the fixture had to be calculated, all while minding the allowable tolerances of the steel per AISC. TEI seamlessly completed this feat, which resulted in a prominent aesthetic feature in the new Library. TEl's technical expertise allowed for perfect installation and a fantastic quality of workmanship. It was a pleasure working with TEI and we look forward to working with them again soon. We have been very pleased with the exceptional work performed by TEI Electrical Services on our recent emergency power generation project. Howard County was faced with a difficult task of adding backup power generation and replacing our existing dual utility switchgear at our Little Patuxent Wastewater Reclamation Plant (LPWRP). The LPWRP processes an average of 20 million gallons per day and power interruptions are at minimum a nuisance and at worst emergencies requiring quick action and extensive coordination to keep the processes from being upset and violating our discharge permit limitations. Despite the many challenges, TEI Electrical Services managed to navigate the construction with minimal delays and change orders. TEI Electrical Services always felt like a partner with Howard County’s interests in mind. Your Project Manager and Superintendent were extremely professional and a true pleasure throughout the project. The entire TEI Electrical Services crew demonstrated hard work, safety, skill, and professionalism at all times.

TEI Electrical Solution's Prefabrication Facility and their ability to work with BIM played a crucial role on completing this fast track project on time. TEI Electrical Services did an outstanding job installing the electrical systems at the world famous Ivy Hotel in Baltimore. Your Service Manager and Superintendents integrated complicated line and low voltage systems into the former Painter Mansion (ca 1889). Every day was an adventure in design-build adaptation, as unknown structural and historic impediments popped up. Compliance requirements of the DOI Standards for Certified Rehabilitation (federal tax credits) added even another layer of complexity. And then there was the task of accommodating an ever changing interior design program, driven by constant upgrades as the hotel evolved. The Ivy is now the only Relais & Chateaux affiliated hotel in Maryland or Washington, DC, and its amazing metamorphoses has been chronicled in media outlets including The New York Times, Forbes Life, Capital File, The Week and dozens more. The electrical component of this project was performed to the highest standards of industry, and the staff of TEI Electrical Services is to be congratulated.

Communication between Honeywell & TEI Electrical Solutions was instrumental in the success of this project for the FDA. Difficult site conditions and frigid temperatures while installing 1700' of duct bank did not slow their team down as they kept to the agreed schedule and finished on time while maintaining the highest level of safety that we expect on our job-sites.
