The general contract for the MCPS Food Distribution  center in Montgomery Village, MD  20879 was awarded  to Costello Construction. TEI was contracted as the  subcontractor for the electrical scope for this new 77,000  square foot warehouse and a four story parking garage.  The project started in November of 2013 and was  completed in February of 2015. Our strong project  management skills, teamwork collaboration and our  expertise in BIM provided us with the ability to accelerate  the schedule and meet a very aggressive deadline The  description of services provided by TEI included:   installation of two 3,000 amp, main switch boards, feeder  distribution throughout the building, lights & receptacles  in office spaces, and installation of lights and branch  circuiting for equipment in walk in coolers and  freezers.  The type of work TEI performed with in‐house forces  included: the installation of generators, transfer switches  and underground duct banks. The percentage of the work  that was completed by TEI subcontractors was 10%.
